Project Highlights
Mill Creek Aerial Photogrammetry Project
Cooper Aerial was recently contracted by the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management, Nevada Office to fly and furnish completed topographical maps and orthoimagery of the Mill Creek Recreational Area. The Mill Creek Recreational Area is located in Mill Creek, Lander County, Nevada.
The Project Specifications and Deliverables included:
- New Color Aerial Photography at a flight height of 1800 AGL or 1"=300'
- An overall natural color seamless high resolution orthorectified mosaic with a ground sample distance of .1'
- Planimetric data and manually collected 1"=40' scale DTM with corresponding generated 1' contours.
- Ground control survey was completed by Mid-Valley Engineering to include 2 permanent monuments consisting of a metal cap affixed to a 5/8" rebar and enclosed in a minimum 8" diameter by 12" high concrete cylinder.

Project Highlights
TPC Scottsdale Scottsdale, AZ
Cooper Aerial recently teamed up with Olsson Associates to provide mapping services for the TPC Scottsdale. In anticipation of the Waste Management Phoenix Open, Cooper flew the site at 1000 feet above ground level to produce precise 1" = 20', 1/2 ft mapping of the entire course. Cooper also produced color ortho imagery with a .25 inch pixel resolution.

Project Highlights
Cooper recently teamed up with Malick and Scherer to provide mapping for Jacobs Engineering. The project covered roughly 5 miles of Rt 440 from I78 to Rt1-9. The site was flown 1500 ft above sea level in order to produce 1" = 30', 1 ft mapping of the entire road way. This was yet another fun and challenging project on which we enjoyed working. More |

Cooper Aerial Moves Plane to Scottsdale Airpark
We are very excited to announce that we are now storing our Cessna 206 airplane at the Scottsdale Airpark. In addition, we have hired a new flight crew that will be based out of our Phoenix headquarters.
This strategic move was designed to bring more business operations into our main office, improving workflow and productivity while expanding service offerings. Our flight crew will now be completing jobs in California, Texas, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico as well as continued service in Arizona. More |

Cooper Aerial has been selected as on-call provider for Resolution Copper!
The Resolution Copper Mining (RCM) project is located three miles east of Superior, Arizona. Exploration during 2001-2003 indicated that the Resolution Mine may be the largest copper resource ever found in North America and possibly the world. The mine will have a huge impact on the economy of the State of Arizona. Based upon early projections over a 66 year life span, a peak of 1,200 mine employees and 200 construction workers are expected on-site during normal operations. The annual mine operations are initially expected to account for $178.7 million in wages. More |
