Cooper Aerial Survey Company, a client focused multi-disciplinary aerial photo and mapping company recently announced the Cooper Challenge. Inland Aerial, a longstanding partner of Cooper Aerial accepted the challenge and is now encouraging customers to ask questions and expect more out of their geospatial professionals.
Jeff Cooper, President and CEO of Cooper Aerial recently began encouraging his partners in the geospatial community to raise industry standards by engaging their clients throughout the course of a project. Aerial mapping and survey customers generally depend heavily on their vendors to provide accurate products from data to imagery with little to no questions. Without asking the proper questions, a client is blindly trusting that they are receiving an accurate product. As a result, Mr. Cooper decided to challenge both the customer as well as the vendor to engage one another, thus raising industry standards.
“As a geospatial professional, I work hard to provide my customers with only the highest quality of products,” said Jeff Cooper. “I am able to better serve those who ask questions and are able to articulate exactly what they want; from there it is my job to deliver an accurate product that meets or exceeds all of their needs.”
Inland Aerial is a consulting firm providing services in aerial mapping, aerial photography and digital imagery. Established in 1969, Inland has worked closely with Cooper Aerial on a number of projects. Most recently the companies teamed up on a strip mapping project for County of Riverside, California. For this particular project Cooper provided the imagery after which Inland completed the qualification and the Q/A process.
In order to ensure the project met the client’s needs, Inland Aerial took the Cooper Challenge, engaging the customer and explaining the importance of thorough Q/A and Q/C in order to receive a successfully designed product.
Both Cooper Aerial and Inland Aerial hope to see more industry leaders taking the initiative to engage their clients and “raise the bar” for the entire industry. Click here to read the full length press release on the Cooper Challenge.
